The year is 2003, at the peak of the SARS crisis.
The Koh family, scattered across the globe, is forced to reunite when the family patriarch falls ill. They have not spoken to each other for years, and are compelled to confront various unresolved issues – sibling rivalries, desertions and betrayals.
Suddenly, Pa is diagnosed as a suspected SARS case, and a home quarantine order is slapped on the household. For the next ten days, there is no avoiding one anther! Rooms are occupied, lines are drawn, and World War III threatens to erupt!

Homesick is a Alfian Sa'at's new dark comedy exploring ideas of family, identity and rootlessness, and the global phenomenon of migration and exile. Alfian's last play, Landmarks: Asian Boys Vol. 2 won the Straits Times Life! Theatre Award for Best Script in 2004 and his plays have been performed in Kuala Lumpur, London, Stockholm and Zurich.
Homesick is directed by the multi-talented Jonathan Lim who recently joined W!LD RICE as an Associate Artistic Director, and features a cast of Singapore theatre's most seasoned professionals as well as exciting new talent.
