Jedidiah is a screenwriter and playwright. Through his work, he aims to shine a light onto the sides of humanity that most would rather not talk about. Still, he tries not to be too much of a downer and is a huge believer in the power of comedy. His debut stageplay, Lion, was produced by Toy Factory Productions and revolved around issues of masculinity, bullying, and generational trauma. It was staged at the Gateway Theatre to a sold-out audience. Following the production, he (and Lion) was featured in a Lianhe Zaobao article on masculinity. As a theatre practitioner, he also co-created a devised theatrical response to Eleanor Wong's Wills and Secession as part of Centre 42's The Vault: Ties That Bind.
In his free time, he is an award-winning spoken word poet who has represented Singapore at the Causeway Exchange Slam 2019 where they won the Team Event. In the same year, he won the Goh Sin Tub Creative Writing Competition.
