Gabbi Wenyi Ayane graduated from the School of the Arts, Singapore in 2015. Since then, she has gone to law school, been published on HuffPost, directed a full-length monologue (I Lie There, I am Dancing and It’s Okay, 2017), starred in a production that was then selected for the National Student Drama Festival (Seeking Intimacy, 2017), dropped out of law school, interned at Checkpoint Theatre, won her first poetry slam (WordForward Poetry Slam, April 2018) and worked as the wardrobe stylist for two music videos (Heartbreak Song by Gareth Fernandez; Lift Your Eyes by Lincoln Lim).
