Isaiah Christopher Lee is a Singaporean theatre practitioner and educator. His works include The Old Woman and the Ox (2018), Single Mothers (2019), Yatim (2021), and Esplanade Presents:《空》 Reflections at HuaYi 2021. Isaiah is currently reading English Literature and Art History at Nanyang Technological University. He is also a guest lecturer at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore (NAFA) and teaches “Reimagi(ni)ng Sanskrit Epics in Contemporary Southeast Asia” under the School of Music. His interests include manifestations of trauma, faith and art, gender and sexuality. In parallel with theoretical research within and beyond the disciplines of Art History and English Literature, he explores performance and storytelling through theatre and education.
