OBJECTIVES:
(1) To bring the arts of the West and the East together into a Festival that will allow participation to both school-going and adult persons in Singapore in such a manner as to afford significant educational and aesthetic training and benefit for all.
(2) To foster the important cultural facets through which, we believe, a truly Singapore culture will evolve.
(3) To provide opportunities for the improvement of the performing arts among talented musicians, dancers and artistes in our Republic.
