Since 2017, Wan has embarked on a journey as a professional actor, distinguishing himself through his virtuosic performances in a plethora of productions. He has graced the stage in notable productions such as Off Centre by The Necessary Stage, Rumah Dayak by Rupa Co.Lab, Singapore’s Writer’s Festival, Aidli Mosbit’s Al-Kesah, Bangsawan Tajul Gaspar, Malay Heritage Centre’s CultureFest and Toy Factory’s Kwa Geok Choo (2022) as well as The Wright Stuff Festival (2021 & 2023). Additionally, he has lent his talents to gallery tours and served as a voice actor too.

Prior to his professional debut, Wan honed his craft through his participation in various productions for Temasek Polytechnic’s Teatro and Bulan Bahasa. He was cast as the lead in TP25’s quinquennial musical, Crunch Time, and explored the techniques of Playback and Forum Theatre under the mentorship of Xris Lee. He is a graduate of the Intercultural Theatre Institute.

In addition, Wan has also acted in various short-film projects, commercial television, governmental content, student projects, and music videos. Furthermore, he has directed and devised productions like Runaway.Co’s Young and Malay. He serves as an instructor for various institutions.
