David the BEST! (2008)

Explore the psyche of being small through stories shared by different Davids in this tongue-in-cheek theatre-talk show. See and feel how our Davids find small ways to live as the BEST in this BIG BIG world of ours.

A reference to the biblical story of David vs Goliath, and also a pun on the Chinese proverb, the play is a multi-media, multi-disciplinary, hilarious and satirical take on what is it like being small in a BIG world.

Popular radio DJ Huang Wenhong's stage debut, David the BEST! is a collaborative effort of some of Singapore's most talented people. Co-created and devised by Kok Heng Leun (Outstanding Young Person of Singapore 2006) and Radio100.3 DJ Huang Wenhong (Most Popular Male DJ, OMY Radio Awards 2007), the show will also feature a set designed by world-renowned architect Tan Kay Ngee.
