The story of a young Singaporean girl called Toni, who is placed under extreme pressure from her father to excel in the sciences and to renounce all forms of creativity. By accidental wish, Tony is transported to a Southern Province of China, where in a series of magical encounters and adventures, the story of Ma Liang and his magic paintbrush is recounted.
