Kaykay Nizam is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Singapore graduating from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts with a B.A. (1st Hons) in Theatre Arts. Since then, his career has spanned over 40 productions, having performed internationally in Beijing, Mongolia, Indonesia, London and New York. Moreover, Kaykay has been an active educator of the arts, teaching through theatre in primary and secondary schools all over Singapore. He has helped his students attain Distinction four times consecutively at the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation for Drama. As part of his practice, not only has he worked on stage but also served as one of the unseen heroes of the theatre such as producer, director, choreographer, set, sound and lighting designer and production team.
