A supposedly usual party reveals some intricate secrets; and an evening of heavy drinking exposes inherent human flaws. It all starts with a young couple being invited to the home of an elderly professor, and there they find themselves somehow embroiled in the martial conflict of their host and his wife. Under the influence of alcohol, the two couples get caught up in a verbal warfare, hurling humiliation and abuses at each other. The absurd game they play unmasks their true emotions which have so far been buried within. What could have caused them to abandon their usual superficial harmony for a turn of cynicism, aggressive taunting and seduction from which they are unable to extricate? In the end, deceit seems to be their only way out. But how is such an intense evening going to turn out?
Can we actually tell the difference between reality and illusion? Are we even courageous enough to live our lives without delusions and be honest and true to ourselves?
