The story of an imprisoned man a few days prior to his release is paralleled with descriptions of judgement day. As he slowly relates the circumstances that led to his incarceration, we start to realise his life, or rather the path he chose, would have only two outcomes, either greatness or damnation. A War explores the dynamics and politics that immediately comes with being a Muslim post 9/11 and how an event thousands of miles away can be the responsibility of a seemingly innocent person or it can lead to the arrest of someone whose only crime is the religion he practices.
