The Big Book Launch celebrates the release of accomplished Singaporean playwright, Zulfadli Rashid's brand new book, Kolong.

Join us for the book launch of our Writer-in-Residence, Zulfadli Rashid’s new anthology of plays! As a renowned playwright, Zulfadli Rashid has earned a reputation for creating compelling and thought-provoking works that challenge the status quo. Kolong gathers five of his plays - some whimsical, some heartbreaking - Hero (2009), Kancil (2015), Semeja (2017), Penunggu (2018) and Balik (2020).

Join us at The Big Book Launch for an evening of readings of select excerpts from Kolong, a panel discussion, and an exclusive pre-launch sale of the book, signed by the author himself. The readings will be performed by Irsyad Dawood and Siti Hajar Abdul Gani. The panel discussion will involve Zulfadli Rashid, Nabilah Said and Fezhah Maznan.

Whether you're a fan of Zulfadli Rashid's work or simply interested in exploring Singaporean literature, The Big Book Launch is an event you won't want to miss.

Note: The reading will be in Malay with English surtitles. The panel will be in English.
