Chap Lau is a radio play that follows the stories of some of the residents of the kampong to see how they are affected by resettlement and how they adjust to city living. It looks at the socioeconomic problems in the '60s like earning a living, housing and fitting into society. It also features common social groupings like tontines and night classes. There are 10 episodes, each between 10 - 15 minutes long, available in English and Mandarin.
