When I was first asked to take a look at this play, the plan was to read it later. However, glancing curiously at the first page wasn't enough and very soon the first page wasn't enough and very soon the last page was closed and with it, a determination that this was a piece we just had to do.
And then came the playing. Each rehearsal has been an unwrapping and revealing of twists, turns, connections, truths and... questions as we explore the adaptability and resilience of the human body, mind and spirit.
In creating a meditation on those extremes, we appreciate those who live with them day to day their whole life long.
