We... never thought we'd need each other like this. There are various gangsters in this world, and we are amongst them. Not easy, but possible. It’s about being together. Sharing space, energy, priorities. We look out for each other. Like I said before, we hold our own. We move, we move on, and a question arises: how do you move differently? How manoeuvre beyond the radar, deflect attention? We do not misbehave, not in any conventional sense. We are not rabble-rousers, insurgents, revolutionaries. We do not bear arms, burn money or wipe our arses on the flag. True, our sex toys are anatomically correct, but in general our sexual practices are only mildly deviant. We - Gang of Four - do not even constitute an illegal gathering. We disconcert no-one. It is not for us that Heads of State sleep fitfully: were we the only thread, those same heads would sink deep into their pillows, and dream on. A bunch of god-fearing citizens with a pack of cards and a bottle of the hard stuff is a more troubling proposition than we could ever conjure up. And yet, we work together because we share a few things that set us apart.

Number one. We're not scared of anything.

Number two. Judge a book by its cover - we look suspicious because we are suspicious.

Three: we, too, discriminate.

Four: there are ways and means, and we know them.

Five: we are not out-laws. We operate in-between the law.

Six: contrary to what you might think, that is actually a very clean place to be.

Seven: we operate successfully because we organise otherwise.

Eight: the privileged know this even better than the desperate.

Nine: at this present moment, we find ourselves somewhere between the two.

Ten: all these things are available to us because we move differently, even when we are sleeping.
