Impromptu Meetings (IM) is an independent theatre collective in Singapore, set up in 2020 after a year-long collaboration between three theatre artists – Miriam Cheong, Cheryl Tan Yun Xin and Adeeb Fazah. It focuses on telling original stories of life in the modern world. IM believes the theatre space to be a place of meeting, not just between collaborators but also between theatre makers and audiences. The collective explores the whole gamut of storytelling mediums and narratives – many of these explorations impromptu.
