She moved to Germany at the age of 23 to study Theatre Studies at the Free University of Berlin. The distinctions between the two societies in cultural and political aspects, which is profound as she experienced, push her to reflect on the interweaving of art and the history of philosophical ideas, as well as the political system. Characterised by her transcultural perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches, her works focus on the areas of participatory theatre, political theatre and dance theatre. Besides collaborating with numerous young artists, as a dramaturge she also works together with established artists including Kadir Amigo Memis, Yui Kawaguchi, Ming Poon and Naoko Tanaka.
