Director Oliver Chong cross-references verbatim text from interviews with a cast from the NAFA BA (Hons) Theatre Arts course, with texts from two seminal plays by Singaporean playwrights Kuo Pao Kun and Alfian Sa’at. The works seeks to excavate subjective truths, instead of a singular collective voice, to uncover myriad interpretations of the Singaporean sentiments on “happiness, prosperity and progress for our nation”.
