演出编剧为『【表演工作坊】由赖声川规划、完成，李立群等原始剧组共同参与之创作《暗恋桃花源》』
“暗恋”和“桃花源”是两个不相干的剧组，他们都与剧场签定了当晚彩排的和约，双方争执不下，谁也不肯相让。
“暗恋”是一出现代悲剧。
“桃花源”则是一出古装喜剧。
由于演出在即，两个剧组不得不将空间一分为半，在剧场里同时彩排。过程中，两方互相打扰和挑衅，产生了古今悲喜交错的戏剧冲突。
Mistakenly booked into the same space for rehearsals, a tussle ensues between two theatre troupes staging two very different plays.
Secret Love – a romantic tragedy.
Peach Blossom Land – a farcical period comedy.
With no time to spare, the two troupes split the theatre space into half to rehearse concurrently. They ended up disturbing and provoking each other with dramatic crossings between the old and the new, the tragic and the comic.
