Souvenir takes us back to 1964 where pianist Cosmé McMoon recounts the real-life musical career of one of History’s most unforgettable Opera Stars, Florence Foster Jenkins. She was an outlandish and wealthy socialite who believed in in the importance of sharing her “enchanting voice” with the world.
Unfortunately, the ugly truth is Jenkins couldn’t sing! This did not stop her and the unlikely duo went on to hold sensational recitals even producing a sold-out performance at Carnegie Hall!
