Body Text
Mona is sentimental. She collects newspapers and calls them her memories. She is on death-row waiting for her time to “go home”.
Judy is realistic. She receives the memories of citizens and compiles them for the National Memory Project. She’s been tasked to retrieve a memory from Mona. Surely someone who is days away from her death will have many memories to share, right? Or will the soon-to-be dead woman tell no tales?
The National Memory Project is presented as part of the Twenty Something Theatre Festival.
Performed in Malay, English and Hokkien with subtitles.
