This year the Fringe offers an exciting month's fare of things "wild, weird and wonderful"! More than 4,200 artistes will stage 280 performances at 90 venues — from Shenton Way to newtown centres and even the zoo!
A fine complement to the main Festival fare, the Fringe events bring the arts right to the people in less formal but equally absorbing settings. And with the exception of 6 items, admission to the Fringe is free.
This is your handy guide to the Fringe. In the Programme Section, listed alphabetically and in categories, is interesting background information about the groups taking part. Also for your convenience is a daily listing of Fringe activities, cross-referenced with an easy-to-refer code.
