Stop Kiss is written by Diana Son and originally produced for the New York Shakespeare Festival in 1998. A delicate love story about two best friends, Stop Kiss is about who we think we are, and who we discover ourselves to be. It's about the friendship and love between two women, and about having the freedom to choose whom we love, and how we love.
Stop Kiss was named one of the best plays of 1999 by the New York Times and was Winner of the 1999 Media Award from GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) for Outstanding New York Theatre Production.
