Xu Fei and his sister Xu Yue grow up in a pigsty. Life is hard, but Xu Fei possesses an indomitable spirit, allowing him to act as all kinds of animals, making others happy. He can play anything under the sun - even a flying pig.

As he grows into adulthood, Xu Fei dreams of becoming an actor and to bring laughter to the masses. His family, however, strongly oppose his dream, due to the fate of Fei's father.

He was a poor storyteller, unable to support the family on his meagre earnings and who left nothing to them when he died - except his stories.

"You cannot be like Pa. The world had no place for him. Everyone called him a clown. You have been living with pigs and as a pig - and they don't fly."

Or do they?
