A boy discovers some dead birds on the ground. He meets an old man who helps him unravel the cycle of human suffering. Master Bangladeshi flautist, Bari Siddiqui, performed in the piece billed as a theatre concert because of the intermingling of theatre and music. The Singapore production was a revision of the original The Gateless Gate which was first used as a workshop vehicle in Project Kasturdesh in Dhaka.
