But what are the stories behind these anonymous people? What families have they left behind? What legal and illegal obstacles have they overcome? Do they even have a name?
Directed by Alvin Tan and Tatsuo Kaneshita with Haresh Sharma as head writer, Mobile is a unique collaboration involving artists from Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Japan, dealing with stories of women and men who are affected by movement and migration. As the world becomes more mobde, has it also become more foreign?
