Her professional journey in the arts began in 1991 when she joined TheatreWorks as its PR manager and eventually became its General Manager (1991 \\u2013 2000). Michele is also one of the founding members of the Singapore Drama Educator\\u2019s Association where she has held the posts of president, treasurer and advisor. A fervent advocate for a balanced and productive arts eco-system, Michele has devoted many years to raising public awareness of the importance and value of the arts in the everyday life, and about Singapore\\u2019s performing arts legacy. It is with this same fervor that Michele became part of TAFY. As a management consultant in the areas of strategic planning and review, organisational performance, business development and communications, Michele works with many diverse sectors in the arts \\u2013 ranging from the performing arts organisations (theatre, dance and music), industry organisations, government agencies and educational institutions. She teaches part time at LASALLE College of the Arts, and also designs and conducts customised arts management in-house training for organisations.
