Emerging playwright/ director Zizi Azah bte Abdul Majid, who presented the highly successful How Did the Cat Get So Fat?, returns to the Fringe with another inspired work.

Above Us Only Sky consists of vignettes about social relationships - from a time of innocence to a time of convoluted histories; from escalations of violence to gestures of kindness. The play features 3 girls playing a game of pretense - some of which turn out to be more real than they had expected. It is an intimate exploration of tensions between individuals within a society, as well as between societies. Above Us Only Sky presents two unique stories from different continents, offering a shared observation of friendship, marginalisation and political hegemony.
