Life was easy then when Singapore was still a small fishing village. The villagers were simple-minded fishermen relying on the surrounding seas for the abundance of fish. Their happiness was short-lived when an army of sword fish invaded their waters. To everyone's surprise, the village was saved by the intelligence of a little boy. However, his wit in turn gets him into trouble...

Catch all the excitement in this humorous and fascinating The Battle of Red Hill. Formerly known as Practice Theatre Ensemble, The Theatre Practice hopes to entertain the whole family with this delicious palette of Asian music, dance and artful puppetry. They will be joined by our young talents and hand puppeteers from the Student's Theatre Exposure Project and the Finger Players led by Calvin Teng, a talented songwriter who's also the artistic director of Taiwan's Song Song Song Children's Theatre. So join the entire family for a fun-filled performance and find out how Red Hill got its name from this local legend.
