The Savage Land (1996)

Set on the margins of a mythical wilderness, two tormented childhood lovers reunite. What follows is a series of tragedy which rivals those of the Greek's, revealing a complexity of love, hatred, morality and natural law which seems to defy human resolution. Against such adversity, the fateful couple exudes a relentless celebration of passion and courage. This PTE production attempts to release a riveting new contemporary understanding innate in the classic play of prototypical significance.
