Thicker Than Water (1998)

"You keep looking in the mirror for any tall-tale signs... a wrinkle, a spot, a lesion or maybe a mark that says PWA or HIV: person with AIDS or HIV positive. But nothing... nothing... And you think, maybe it was all just a bad dream."

Two 19 year olds. Best of friends. Believing that anything is possible. But what happens when one of them discovers he is HIV-positive? Prejudices are confronted and friendships tested as he struggles to tell his best friend about his illness. Poignant, honest and touching, Thicker Than Water explores the emotional conflicts of those whose lives are affected by HIV.
