The Evening Climb will be Practice Theatre Ensemble's offering for the Singapore Festival of Arts 92. Led by well-known Singaporean dramatist and 1989 Cultural Medallion recipient, Kuo Pao Kun, Practice Theatre Ensemble's original multilingual production revolves around a group of old people, who, retired and ignored, decide to take a trip together. The play explores old people's desire to retain and express their inquisitiveness and creativeness. Liberated from their daily routine, their trip leads them to new discoveries and illumination which "normal" working people are insensitive to and unsympathetic towards.
