An 80 year old man and a 74 year old woman - husband and wife - tell the story of their lives, from the first time they met in the late 1930s, to their wedding, the war…As their narration proceeds, other characters meet, new stories unfold and relationships are formed. Using music and songs, scene after scene is woven into a colourful tapestry of life that is humorous, engaging and moving.
Written by Haresh Sharma, resident playwright of The Necessary Stage, specially for the 9 first-time actors who are all residents of Tampines. The play is directed by Kok Heng Leun.
