In a garden there lived three flowers, Lily, Rose and Chrysanthemum among others. The flowers in the garden are very well-sheltered and never had a chance to see the outside world. The colour of these flowers, when exposed under the sun for too long, will slowly fade off.

Hence, every year, the Flower Goddess will arrive at the garden to give the flowers a Colour Shower which add lustrous colours to their petals. Excited about the new colours they will receive, the flowers await the Colour Shower with great anticipation.

However, during the night before the Colour Shower, Lily secretly makes plans to go to the pond with Big Eyes (frog). As she is on her way to the pond, she is caught by Fe Fe, the flower-eater. After much struggle, she manages to free herself and rushes back to the garden. Alas! The Colour Shower has finished and the other flowers are happily admiring their new colour, while Lily is almost colourless. Seeing the state that she is in, the other flowers refuse to admit Lily into the garden. Sad and dejected, Lily decides to search for the Flower Goddess for her own Colour Shower...
