OFF CENTRE traces the friendship of two ex-mental patients, Saloma and Vinod, and the problems and hurdles that they have to overcome, including social stigmas, prejudices and personal conflicts.

The play took nine months to stage.The cast, director and playwright went through a series of improvisations and research, visiting Woodbridge Hospital and halfway houses, and interviewing mental and ex-mental patients, psychiatrists, social workers and so on.
