Body Text

Chia Xin Ying is a third-year Theatre Studies major in NUS. She is most interested in investigating the relationship between the voice and the body, and how impulse can affect the performer's work. She also enjoys writing and is very humbled to have had two of her works (Bad CookingNoise in Silence) produced by student actors. She believes that the theatre is a place where conversations can be furthered, and where bold explorations will bring us one step closer to understanding the boundless complexity of the human condition. She hopes that she will contribute to these conversations and explorations in her short time on Earth.
